ALL CERT MEMBERS are requested to report/deploy to SALEM FIRE DEPARTMENT, 2790 25th STREET SALEM, OREGON 97302. ***NEW EMS BUILDING*** NEXT TO AIRPORT, LOOK FOR BALLOONS BY 1000 (10 a.m.). If you are unable to attend for any reason, please respond by "either deploying or letting us know you're unable to deploy." If you cannot deploy on Saturday, please let Mark Wardell know, with a copy to Laura Hackett, and Mark will coordinate his list of CERT members with the City. Mark will always keep you on his list unless you ask to be removed.

Cookies & Cache Event - Peace Lutheran Church - 1525 Glen Creek Rd NW - 7:00PM

Team Leaders Laurie and Sophie will be guiding us as we practice setting up the Cache 11C staging area, simulating a real deployment scenario. We'll go through each step, starting with sign-in, until we're fully prepared to handle anything that comes our way. There will even be prizes for the most innovative pop-up shelter setup!

Following the setup and a brief review, what goes up must come down, so we'll move on to taking everything down and packing it away.

Afterward, we'll head over to the Fellowship Hall for the "cookies" part of the event. We'll have a debrief session to discuss improvements and any other functional needs, all while enjoying some cookies and keeping things light and fun.
