This team works year-round to plan, organize, and execute all training activities for the CERT program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary Functions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A key goal is to maintain and improve the program&#8217;s educational standards. To achieve this, the team is responsible for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Providing a robust annual training schedule, o<\/strong>ffering between two to four comprehensive training sessions each year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coordinating accessibility to training<\/strong>, including securing suitable venues that are convenient for all volunteers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Preparing and updating all course materials<\/strong>, ensuring trainers have the latest resources for a successful session.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tracking and analyzing participant feedback<\/strong> to continuously improve the quality and relevance of future Salem CERT training programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This ongoing process guarantees a high standard of preparedness across all of our neighborhood and specialized teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Team Roster<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team Lead:<\/strong>&nbsp;Terry Pickett<br><strong>Assistants:<\/strong>&nbsp;Lola Hackett, Laura Hildebrandt, Wayne Floyd, Mark Wardell<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Training Team is dedicated to ensuring that Salem CERT volunteers are consistently equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve their community effectively.
